Unlike conventional adhesive labels that are produced with a backing or release liner that must be peeled off and discarded, Naked Labels® have no liner to peel off, increasing the speed in which a label can applied to a food order; no liner to discard, reducing carbon footprint and waste-disposal cost; and no (silicone) liner to slip and fall on if the discarded liner ends up on the floor, improving employee safety conditions. Efficiencies are further enhanced when you consider that Naked Labels® can be printed, as a continuous strip, to the exact length of the order, doubling as a receipt. And, removing the liner from the equation increases roll capacity by 50% (more labels), which reduces roll changes (service downtime) and storage by 50%. Naked labels can be configured to operate in most printers, in a variety of adhesive patterns and strengths (permanent, removable, repositionable) designed to adhere in a kitchen’s high temperature environment, and can be perfed and/or imprinted with repeating and/or variable elements (branding) to include sequential numbering. All products meet or exceed minimum labeling standards and are safe for indirect food contact as required by regulations set forth by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
